As a Maintenance Technician, you report directly to the Maintenance Manager, responsible for routine repairs, inspections, and building systems compliance. You will ensure minimal disruption during service while fostering professional relationships with both residents and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and necessary repairs

• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations

• Assist in managing daily operations and contractor tasks

• Oversee snow removal and landscaping maintenance

• Document maintenance activities accurately

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Certification in building maintenance is an asset

• Previous experience in healthcare or hospitality

• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

• WHMIS certification needed
