GDI Services Heavy Cleaner Position

GDI Services (Canada) LP is looking for a Heavy Cleaner dedicated to maintaining high cleanliness standards across various facilities. This casual janitorial role emphasizes essential cleaning duties that create a welcoming environment.

In this position, you will ensure all areas, from washrooms to carpets, are meticulously cleaned and maintained. Your responsibilities include managing garbage disposal, cleaning surfaces, and monitoring for defect issues. Working independently and effectively as part of a team is vital in meeting service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain floors, bathrooms, and common areas

• Monitor facilities and report maintenance problems

• Perform heavy lifting and operate cleaning machinery

• Collect and manage waste disposal as specified

• Wash windows and high dust as requested

Requirements:

• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision

• Experience with cleaning tools and processes

• Must have own transportation for site access

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Must pass a Criminal Background Check
