Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents at Cogir Senior Living as a Housekeeping Aide. This casual, part-time role focuses on cleaning and sanitization essential for resident well-being.
As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness of residents' apartments and shared spaces. Your responsibilities will include following established cleaning schedules, using specialized equipment, and ensuring compliance with all safety protocols. Your contributions will enhance the living experience for seniors in our care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and sanitize apartments and common areas
• Operate cleaning machines effectively
• Strip and buff various flooring surfaces
• Collect and dispose of garbage appropriately
• Participate in ongoing training to improve service
Requirements:
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with institutional cleaning practices is an asset
• Ability to work independently and meet job demands
• Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check as per requirements
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
