Position: Building Maintenance Operator with YMCA
YMCA Calgary seeks a Building Operator to ensure optimal facility environments at the Crowfoot location. This full-time contract role emphasizes safety, maintenance, and customer service.

In this role, you will support the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, conduct life safety inspections, and oversee pool maintenance. A minimum 5th Class ABSA Power Engineering Certification is required, along with effective communication skills. You will be expected to tackle diverse tasks and provide exceptional service to community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and repair HVAC systems daily

• Conduct life safety tests and inspections

• Maintain pool system operations and cleanliness

• Respond to and resolve facility maintenance requests

• Provide support for overall facility upkeep and housekeeping

Requirements:

• Valid 5th or 4th Class ABSA Power Engineering Certification

• Flexibility for shift work, including nights

• Current First Aid with CPR-C certification

• Knowledge of maintenance and safety operations

• Clear Police Information Check and professional references
