Part Time Custodian at GCA

Contribute to a clean and inviting environment at Glenmore Christian Academy as a part time Custodian. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness across various areas, operating Monday to Friday, 4 hours each day.

Glenmore Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated part time Custodian to join its team starting August 24, 2026. Working under the Facilities Director, you will manage cleaning duties across washrooms, offices, and classrooms. The ideal candidate must agree with the GCA Statement of Faith and maintain strong communication skills while multitasking effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, wash, and vacuum floors in assigned areas

• Clean and tidy all facilities including washrooms and gyms

• Collect and dispose of garbage and recyclables

• Set up and tear down rooms as needed

• Clear snow from sidewalk and entrance areas

Requirements:

• Completion of High School Diploma

• Up to six months of related housekeeping experience

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform minor maintenance

• Successful completion of Criminal Records Check

• Must have the right to work in Canada
