Afternoon Shift Maintenance Technician at OBE

Join OBE as a Maintenance Technician focused on the afternoon shift.

This role offers a $2.00 shift premium and involves diverse maintenance activities for production equipment.

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and requires support for the afternoon shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of plant equipment, ensuring smooth production operations. Candidates must be prepared for emergency repairs and scheduled maintenance to mitigate downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain production machines and facility equipment

• Troubleshoot instrumentation and process equipment issues

• Provide emergency repairs during production as necessary

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on all machinery

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations in the workplace

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum 2 years of relevant maintenance experience

• Basic knowledge of PLCs preferred

• Experience in MIG and Stick welding is an asset

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying temperatures
