Position: Maintenance Support Role
Explore a fulfilling role as a Maintenance Assistant Level I at Optima Living in Calgary, Alberta. This position focuses on performing various maintenance tasks to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.

You will work under the Maintenance Manager to carry out fundamental repairs, assist with the upkeep of equipment, and help maintain serene and clean living spaces. Responsibilities will also include grounds maintenance and supporting contractors as necessary. Candidates should bring basic skills in plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry to the table, along with strong interpersonal skills to communicate with respect.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct basic plumbing and electrical repairs

• Prepare and paint areas requiring touch-ups

• Unclog plumbing fixtures and check basic equipment

• Support general cleaning and organization of maintenance supplies

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent experience

• Basic skills in maintenance tasks are advantageous

• Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely

• Valid driver’s license required

• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
