Position: Housing Maintenance Supervisor M’Chigeeng First Nation
Lead housing maintenance at M’Chigeeng First Nation as a Housing Maintenance Supervisor. Ensure maximum asset life through effective coordination and implementation of maintenance projects and schedules.

As a Housing Maintenance Supervisor, you will support the Housing Manager in managing housing units and ensuring compliance with the M’Chigeeng Housing Policy. A focus on maintenance planning, staff supervision, and working effectively with contractors will be key in this full-time position.

Your role ensures that housing needs are met efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop annual work plans and budgets for housing projects

• Oversee daily maintenance and repairs of band buildings

• Train and supervise housing maintenance staff

• Schedule regular inspections and coordinate emergency repairs

• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies

Requirements:

• Minimum five years construction or supervision experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent education

• Valid Ontario Driver's License and clean abstract

• WHIMIS, First Aid, and CPR certifications

• Knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills
