Position: AgeCare Maintenance Assistant Role
Join Age Care as a Maintenance Assistant, dedicated to enhancing the well-being of residents through essential maintenance tasks. Focus on electrical, plumbing, and minor carpentry duties within a long-term care environment.

In this role, you’ll perform semi-skilled maintenance duties vital for the upkeep of our Long-Term Care residence. Candidates should have one to two years of relevant experience along with a Grade 12 diploma. You will provide hands-on support by repairing essential equipment, regulating plumbing, and conducting routine electrical inspections to ensure a safe living space for our seniors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair defective equipment affecting resident care

• Regulate and fix taps, toilets, and plumbing fixtures

• Inspect and maintain lighting, fixtures, and outlets

• Test electrical circuits and appliances with instruments

• Assist in maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment

Requirements:

• One to two years of maintenance experience

• Knowledge of WHMIS regulations

• Grade 12 diploma with technical training
