Car Wash Maintenance Technication

Great White Car Wash operates six express tunnel and self-serve locations across Alberta - four in Calgary, one in Airdrie, and one in Edmonton. We're a growing, community-focused company that takes pride in fast, friendly service and spotless, well-run facilities. Our equipment is the heart of our business - and we're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep it running at its best.

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll own the upkeep, repair, and continuous improvement of our car wash equipment and facilities. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll prioritize maintenance schedules, troubleshoot issues, and keep our tunnels running smoothly so every customer drives away happy. This is a physically active, hands-on role - ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, takes pride in their work, and enjoys solving problems.

• Partner with the General Manager to plan and prioritize the maintenance schedule.
• Perform scheduled and preventative maintenance to keep equipment running reliably and safely - and to prevent breakdowns while a customer is in the tunnel.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and equipment issues.
• Install and commission new equipment.
• Work safely on lifts and ladders and in tight spaces.
• Look for efficiencies and drive continuous improvement across the site.
• Maintain the property inside and out - keeping it clean, safe, and presentable.

• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Previous experience in mechanics, trades, or a related field is a strong asset.
• Good physical condition - able to lift up to 30 lbs, climb ladders, shovel sediment, and stay on your feet for 8+ hours.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and follow procedures, routines, and safety protocols.
• Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive, team-first attitude.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, including occasional overtime.

• Fast-paced environment requiring manual dexterity.
• Work performed both indoors and outdoors, in a wide range of temperatures and weather (weather-appropriate uniforms provided).
