Caretaker I Position at Prairie Waters School

Join Rocky View Schools as a part-time Caretaker I at Prairie Waters School in Chestermere, Alberta.

In this continuing position, you will work 20 hours a week during evening shifts, Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for housekeeping duties at the school, ensuring all areas remain tidy, sanitary, and safe for students and staff under the guidance of the Head Building Operator.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily cleaning tasks across school facilities

• Ensure safety checks of the building as directed

• Remove ice and snow from outdoor areas

• Exhibit meticulous attention to detail in cleaning

• Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning is preferred

• Understanding of health and safety standards is beneficial

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and web applications

• Certifications from cleaning organizations are advantageous
