Join Home Space Society as a Maintenance Technician focused on property upkeep and community safety. This is a hands-on role with responsibilities in repairs, preventative maintenance, and more across our Calgary properties.

As a vital member of Home Space Society, the Maintenance Technician will ensure that our affordable housing units are safe and well-maintained. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, and executing preventative maintenance schedules. Attention to detail and effective communication with residents and contractors will be key to your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and emergency repair tasks

• Conduct inspections of building systems

• Aid in preparing units for new residents

• Maintain accurate maintenance records

• Promote safety compliance in all tasks

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of relevant maintenance experience

• Solid understanding of mechanical systems

• Effective problem-solving skills

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Reliable transportation for site visits
