Position: YW Custodian Relief Role
Help maintain a safe and clean environment at YW Calgary as a custodian. This flexible relief position allows for varied hours tailored to operational needs and staff coverage.

As a custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of YW facilities. Engage in day-to-day janitorial work while observing YWCA policies and health regulations.

Your role ensures a welcoming atmosphere for users and enhances community welfare through your efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain specified YW spaces

• Identify and address safety or maintenance issues

• Follow safety standards and use PPE properly

• Operate janitorial equipment effectively

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Strong English verbal and written skills

• Experience with cleaning equipment

• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety

• First Aid and WHMIS certification required
