Facilities& Maintenance Specialist
We are currently recruiting a Drivmatic Maintenance & Facilities Specialist to join our Operations team. This role supports multiple operational sites and is primarily responsible for the maintenance, reliability, and safe operation of Ground Support Equipment (GSE), including the DHC 515 Wing Drivmatic machine
, as well as associated tooling, equipment, and facility assets
Reporting to the Industrialization Supervisor, the Drivmatic Maintenance & Facilities Specialist will be the primary point of contact for the maintenance and preventative maintenance of the Drivmatic and other production GSE. The role will also support general maintenance and facility requirements, including troubleshooting, inspections, vendor coordination, preventative maintenance planning, and equipment repairs.
The successful candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to coordinate maintenance activities across multiple sites. This position requires someone who can work independently while building strong relationships with Operations, Production, Facilities, Supply Chain, vendors, and other internal stakeholders.
Duties & Responsibilities- Maintain, inspect, and support production Ground Support Equipment (GSE), tooling, and related equipment
. - Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and schedules for GSE, Drivmatic equipment, tooling, and other operational assets.
- Perform routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic inspections in accordance with equipment manuals, company procedures, and applicable standards.
- Troubleshoot GSE, Drivmatic, equipment, and facility-related issues and complete repairs where qualified and appropriate.
- Identify equipment deficiencies, recurring issues, and potential reliability concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate third-party vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, inspections, servicing, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection documentation, service histories, and equipment information.
- Coordinate scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to minimize disruption to production and operations.
- Support the procurement of maintenance parts, tooling, equipment, and services.
- Support general facility maintenance requirements, including equipment, workspace, storage, utilities, and site infrastructure as required.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, maintenance processes, efficiency, and operating costs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance, equipment reliability, and facility operations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with applicable safety requirements, company procedures, equipment specifications, and regulatory standards.
