Custodians School Facilities

Become a part of Calgary Girls Charter School as a Custodian, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our educational facilities. Opportunities available for both full-time and part-time staff.

The Calgary Girls Charter School is hiring Custodians to uphold the school's cleanliness standards at multiple locations.

Your role will include cleaning classrooms, gymnasiums, and outdoor park spaces, all while following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health standards. You will also manage custodial supplies and address maintenance issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms, hallways, and common areas

• Restock supplies in washrooms and staff areas

• Perform outdoor litter pickup and winter maintenance

• Identify safety hazards and report them to management

• Assist staff, students, and visitors with needs as required

Requirements:

• Requires at least 1 year of janitorial experience

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor

• High School Diploma or equivalent education

• Communicate effectively with staff and peers

• Must complete background checks and acquire certifications
