Work Environment: Busy 24-hour veterinary hospital
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital. This role is an important part of keeping our hospital clean, safe, organized, and ready for patients, staff, and the ongoing demands of a busy clinical environment. There is no hands-on animal care required and no client interaction involved in this position.
What We're Looking For:The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, and understands that a veterinary hospital can change quickly throughout the day. You should be comfortable reading the room, prioritizing tasks, and being flexible based on what is happening in the hospital. Previous professional cleaning experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and performing cleaning duties throughout the shift
Respectful of a professional veterinary environment and the sensitive nature of the work
Duties will include, but are not limited to:Cleaning and maintaining floors throughout the hospital
Cleaning counters, work surfaces, cupboards, walls, and other surfaces
Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and cages
Paying attention to high-touch areas and frequently used spaces
Cleaning hard-to-reach areas, nooks, crannies, and behind/under equipment where appropriate
Maintaining a consistently clean and sanitary environment
Emptying garbage and handling cleaning-related waste appropriately
Restocking cleaning supplies as needed
Responding to changing cleaning priorities throughout the day
Working around the activities of a busy 24-hour veterinary hospital while minimizing disruption to staff and patient care
Identifying areas that need attention and taking initiative rather than waiting to be directed

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
