Arena Operations and Maintenance at Trico Centre

Join Trico Centre for Family Wellness as an Arena Operator, responsible for essential facility operations and maintenance tasks. This full-time role offers a diverse range of responsibilities in a community-focused environment.

Your primary duties will include managing HVAC systems, performing routine maintenance, and assisting facility attendants. You will oversee arena operations while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of visitors. This position requires flexibility, given its rotating 10-hour shifts covering evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute hands-on maintenance and repairs for HVAC systems

• Conduct plumbing and electrical tasks as needed

• Prepare arenas and gyms for programs and events

• Regularly inspect the facility for maintenance needs

• Respond promptly to facility emergencies

Requirements:

• Must hold a Fifth Class Power Engineering ticket

• 1-3 years of prior building operations experience preferred

• Knowledge of safety standards and WHIMIS is essential

• Certifications in Arena and Pool Operations Level 1 and 2

• Capable of lifting weights of 50lbs or more
