Residential Maintenance Manager

Position: Residential Maintenance Manager BGO
Lead building operations as BGO's Residential Maintenance Manager, ensuring optimal maintenance and excellent resident services. Focus on safety measures and regulatory compliance in this essential role.

In this position, you will manage maintenance across a portfolio of residential properties for BGO, ensuring all systems and equipment meet operational standards. You will be responsible for supervising a maintenance team, coordinating necessary repairs, and maintaining strong relationships with residents and vendors. Your experience in building systems will be imperative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor and lead maintenance staff and service contractors

• Oversee daily maintenance activities and schedules

• Maintain compliance with safety and operational regulations

• Ensure efficient preventive and corrective maintenance

• Coordinate the readiness of vacant suites for new tenants

Requirements:

• High school education with post-secondary courses

• 5 years of experience in building operations

• Strong knowledge of applicable legislation

• Valid 5th Class Power Engineer Certification

• Police clearance needed for hiring
