Part-Time Caretaker at University

Join the Facilities Management Team as a Part-Time Caretaker at the University of Calgary. This role focuses on maintaining a safe and comfortable work environment through effective cleaning practices.

We are seeking six part-time Caretakers for approximately six months to support our Caretaking department. Your responsibilities include cleaning various University-owned properties and maintaining a high level of hygiene. You must be available for various shifts throughout the week, including evenings and weekends to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean assigned areas to team standards

• Report maintenance needs and safety issues

• Accept shift assignments and ensure attendance

• Maintain and secure cleaning equipment and tools

• Interact respectfully with staff and students

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade level education required

• Related experience is an asset

• Must lift up to 25 lbs (11.5 kg)

• Availability for varied shifts

• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
