Maintain clean campus spaces as a Building Services Worker with Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Banff. Apply custodial skills across public and office areas.
This term position ends April 30, 2027, and provides front line custodial and care-taking services across campus buildings. Assignments may include classrooms, halls, lobbies, lounges, gyms, locker rooms, washrooms, offices, kitchens, and dining rooms. Daily duties vary with campus activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout assigned areas
- Dust and sanitize countertops and tables
- Wash windows and window ledges
- Clean toilets, sinks, showers, and change-rooms
- Empty garbage and collect recyclables
- Understand and apply general cleaning practices
- Work independently after initial training and assignment
- Prioritize changing daily tasks effectively
- Communicate well with clients and fellow staff
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
