Building Services Maintenance Manager

Lead building maintenance and environmental services at Riverwalk Retirement Residence, overseeing safe facilities, life safety systems, and regulatory compliance. Support a welcoming environment for residents and families.
The Building Services Manager oversees residence maintenance and environmental services. This position manages preventative maintenance, contractors, building systems, and facilities upkeep. It also supports compliance, safety, and operational continuity across the residence.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage preventative maintenance programs, inspections, testing, and documentation
Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, security, and communication systems
Coordinate contractors, trades, and service providers
Maintain facility, furnishings, equipment, fixtures, grounds, cleanliness, and safety
Support suite preparation, unit turnovers, budgets, and capital planning
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 education
Three years of facility maintenance management experience
Knowledge of building systems and life safety operations
Strong computer skills, including maintenance software and Microsoft Office
Proficient written and verbal English
