Support secure, clean Rundle Schools facilities as a Building Attendant using maintenance skills and independent problem solving. This is full-time permanent work.
Rundle seeks a Building Attendant for its facilities team at Rundle Schools. You will support building security, cleaning, maintenance tasks, rental groups, and facility projects coordinated by the Manager of Facilities. The role requires communication, technology comfort, and basic building repair knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Open and close schools and operate alarm systems
- Perform security, monitoring, and rental-space checks
- Complete daily, seasonal, and emergency cleaning
- Handle maintenance, repairs, installations, and furniture moving
- Identify safety risks and respond to facility demands
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
- Comfort with Google Workspace, smartphones, and laptops
- Basic knowledge of building repair, cleaners, electrical, and plumbing
- Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
