Hotel Building Maintenance Worker

Maintain hotel facilities on site using repair skills and cleaning equipment across all weather conditions. Support safe, orderly guest areas daily.

This Building Maintenance Worker role requires secondary school graduation and one to two years of experience. Duties include cleaning, minor repairs, equipment operation, grounds care, and safety checks. The work setting is a hotel, motel, or resort, with minimal supervision and physically demanding tasks.

• Sweep, mop, scrub, wax, and vacuum floors and stairs
• Empty waste containers and clean windows, walls, and ceilings
• Make minor heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical adjustments
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies exceeding 45 kilograms
• Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas

• Secondary school graduation certificate
• One year to less than two years’ experience
• WHMIS and First Aid certificates
• Ability to handle repetitive, physically demanding tasks
• Dependability, judgment, flexibility, and initiative
