Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity seeks a Building Services Worker for essential front line custodial services. This term position ends April 30, 2027, with duties assigned according to campus activities. Work may occur in public and office areas, including kitchens, dining rooms, gyms, and classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Sanitize tables and countertops across assigned spaces
- Wash windows and surrounding window ledges
- Service public washrooms, showers, and change-rooms
- Handle garbage and recyclable collection
- Remain available for a rotating work schedule
- Use various cleaning chemicals as required
- Demonstrate strong prioritizing and attention to detail
- Work independently with minimal ongoing direction
- Maintain physical ability for occasional heavy lifting
Use organized cleaning practices, sound communication, and physical readiness to care for Banff Centre’s busy campus environment.
