Support Banff Centre’s artists, leaders, and thinkers by maintaining clean campus spaces through custodial service and care-taking duties.
This Building Services Worker position provides essential front line custodial services across public and office areas. Assigned spaces may include gyms, locker rooms, public washrooms, dining rooms, kitchens, classrooms, and lounges. The term ends April 30, 2027, with work scheduled on a rotating basis according to campus needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain classrooms, halls, lobbies, lounges, and offices
- Sanitize countertops and tables carefully
- Clean public washrooms, showers, and change-rooms
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Remove garbage and gather recyclables
- Demonstrate sound prioritizing skills as activities fluctuate
- Complete work to a high standard
- Show keen attention to detail
- Work independently after initial training
- Remain available for rotating days off
