A general contractor with an extensive portfolio across Canada is currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee majormercial construction projects in Edmonton. Thispany is known for delivering technically challenging, high-value projects across healthcare, institutional, mixed-use, andmercial sectors, offering a supportive and results-driven work environment.

Role Overview The Senior Project Manager will be the primary on-site leader responsible for managing the successful execution of large-scalemercial building projects, typically valued at $50 million or more. This role demands strong leadership in site operations, safety, quality, scheduling, and budget control, while directing a diverse team of site personnel, trades, and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

Leadingmercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ranging from $1M to $30M

Managing client relationships, consultants, and subcontractors with professionalism and integrity

Driving project schedules, budgets, and quality standards with precision and accountability

Mentoring junior staff and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team culture

Identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation across the project lifecycle

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 10 years ofmercial construction experience with at least 5 years in a project management capacity

Demonstrated success managingplexmercial projects with budgets exceeding $50 million

Strong leadership abilities with excellentmunication and problem-solving skills

Capacity to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments involving multiple stakeholders
