Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief Manager

Step into a leadership role with Samaritan’s Purse Canada as a full-time Assistant Manager for our Canadian Disaster Relief team in Calgary. Utilize your passion and skills to impact lives affected by disasters.

Your leadership will be crucial in managing the Site Leadership Team, ensuring they are well-equipped and prepared for quick responses in crisis situations. As Assistant Manager, you’ll also facilitate training and development, ensuring team members maintain high operational standards and compliance. Engage with key external stakeholders to expand reach and effectiveness of SPC's disaster relief initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead recruitment and support for the Site Leadership Team

• Oversee training and conduct after-action reviews

• Manage logistics and scheduling for deployments

• Build external relationships for enhanced collaboration

• Ensure compliance and accurate documentation

Requirements:

• Commitment to Christian principles and SPC's Statement of Faith

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years in management or related experience

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to coach and mentor team members
