Accident Claims Manager

Position: Accident Benefits Claims Manager
Lead Accident Benefits claims operations with coaching, quality assurance, and performance management at Intact in Edmonton or Calgary. This is a hybrid opportunity.
As an Accident Benefits Unit Claims Manager, you will lead a growing team and manage operations supporting business goals. The work includes communication, process improvement, technological advancements, audits, compliance, and high-quality claims handling. This full-time permanent opportunity is based in Edmonton or Calgary, with four office days initially, transitioning to three weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

Set performance expectations through coaching and mentoring
Manage operations against key business goals
Develop process improvement and technology initiatives
Audit staff files and calls for quality assurance
Measure performance, productivity, compliance, and claims quality
Requirements:
Two years corporate management or four years insurance experience
Leadership skills motivating, coaching, and engaging staff
Strong communication and superior interpersonal skills
Empathy, integrity, and customer-focused judgment
Commitment to self-development and ongoing learning
Bring claims leadership, audit discipline, and team coaching experience to Intact’s Accident Benefits operations in Alberta.
