Lead daily shift execution at HMSHost through associate direction and customer service, supporting management with scheduling, cash handling, and safety compliance.
The Shift Supervisor assists management by monitoring subordinate activities, productivity, assignments, and shift coverage. You provide work directions, support new-associate training, and maintain corporate standards. The position encourages strong sales and customer service performance through leadership and example while reporting to the Store Manager or General Manager.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor subordinate activities, productivity, breaks, and area concerns
- Complete opening, daily, and closing procedures
- Coordinate new-associate on-the-job training
- Operate registers and follow cash-handling procedures
- Resolve complaints and monitor safety compliance
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- At least six months supervisory or lead experience
- Ability to understand policies and converse with customers
- Food and beverage, cash-handling, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and lift forty pounds
