  • Develop and implement end‑to‑end (dock‑to‑dock) manufacturing solutions, owning key deliverables such as Process Flow Diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, and other PPAP documentation.
  • Design, source, build, and validate robust assembly fixtures, jigs, and tooling essential for a high‑quality, repeatable manufacturing process.
  • Work with our supply chain and Product Development engineers to conduct rigorous Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analyses on custom mechanical parts, ensuring supplier capabilities align with our design requirements.
  • Execute First Article Inspections (FAI) on custom components to formally validate supplier processes and part compliance.
  • Conduct Prototype and Pilot builds to validate new manufacturing processes, leveraging data‑driven insights to proactively identify and resolve assembly challenges, refine product design, and validate process capability before mass production.
  • Act as a key technical liaison to our Manufacturing Support team, applying structured problem‑solving to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges identified by our frontline teams.
  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement and act as a key advocate for Lean Manufacturing principles, applying them to optimize assembly, design, and business processes.

  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical design (preferably fixtures, jigs, or tooling) and conducting process validation.
  • Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to use data to inform decisions, drive root‑cause analysis, and influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Superior communication skills, encompassing technical writing (reports, validation protocols, work instructions), and formal presentations.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo, Solid Works).
