Reach Truck Operator​/Order Picker

Position: Reach Truck Operator / Order Picker
Are you a reliable warehouse professional who doesn't mind the cold? We are looking for experienced Order Pickers/Packers to join our food production team in Calgary. This is a consistent, full-time contract role in a fast-paced freezer environment.

The Details
Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour

Term: 3–4 month full-time contract

Location:

Calgary (Fully Transit Accessible)

Environment:
Cold storage/Freezer warehouse

The Schedule
Sunday: 11:30 AM – 8:30 PM

Monday – Thursday: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM

(Enjoy Friday and Saturday off!)

Key Responsibilities
Efficiently picking and packing orders within a freezer environment.

Operating forklifts to move products and manage inventory.

Assisting with general shipping and receiving duties.

Performing repetitive lifting and manual handling of food products.

What You Bring

Experience:

Previous warehouse picking/packing and forklift operation is required.

Gear:
Must have your own CSA-approved steel-toe boots.

Physicality:
Comfortable with repetitive lifting and working in sub-zero temperatures.

Bonus:
Prior experience in food production or handling is a major asset.

Responsibilities

• Manual Order Picking & data entry

• Taking completed bags of dry food mix from the machine, and stacking them on pallets

• Repetitively lifting 44 to 55lbs

• Loading and unloading orders onto pallets to be shipped out

• General cleaning duties of the working area to ensure strong food safety

• Manual Order picking and preparing customer orders

• Safely operate reach truck

Qualifications

• You have experience in manual order picking

• You can lift up to 50lbs

• You are comfortable standing for up to 8 hours

• A positive attitude and good attention to detail

• You have good communication skills

• Must have the ability to use a computer
