, our ready-to-eat brand which is part of the Hello Fresh Group. We are looking for a Production Planner, reporting into the Production Planning Manager, who will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and communicating weekly production plans for cooking, plating, and casing of Factor meals.
As part of the Planning team, you will play a key role in delivering the best possible value to our customers by optimizing internal operations to meet on-time delivery requirements. You will work cross functionally with Production, Menu Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Logistics, Demand Planning and other stakeholders to ensure strong execution and reliable delivery.
What you will be doing:
Establish tools and processes that enable effective capacity and production planning in support of launching a new distribution centreBuild and maintain weekly production plans for ingredients and meals based on forecasted demand, with a strong focus on maximizing kitchen equipment utilization and minimizing wasteAdjust in-week plan based on demand changes, plan adherence and key performance indicators (KPIs)Accountable to meet KPI’s, to track variances to plan and advise on appropriate adjustments to meet operational and delivery level targetsCollaborate with cross functional partners to perform root cause analysis and drive corrective actions related to plan reliability, bottlenecks, and constraints including equipment, labor, and material availabilityOwn cross functional shift handover meetings to align on in week production plans and set expectations and targets for upcoming shifts and production daysMake data driven decisions aligned to business objectives to support production efficiency, schedule adherence and waste reductionLead continuous improvement and process initiatives by leveraging data insights to improve performancePerform other duties as assignedAt a minimum, you have:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field2 to 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Inventory Management, or a related roleIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel, supported by strong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and projects while meeting deadlines in a fast paced and evolving environmentStrong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently with minimal supervisionProven team player with strong communication and interpersonal skillsWould be an asset if you have: ASCM certification (CSCP, CPIM) or actively working towards. Experience with SAP APO PP/DS or similar scheduling software. Database management experience (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau). Prior experience in a fast growing company or startup environment. Prior culinary experience or experience with the ready to eat category.What you’ll get in return:

Calgary, AB Pay Range $60,000—$70,000 CAD
