The Opportunity
The School of Manufacturing, Automation & Transportation is recruiting a Lab Technician (Millwright I). Reporting to the Academic Chair, these positions provide maintenance and service support to the Industrial Mechanic (Millwright), Machinist programs. Typical duties include:
Maintaining & repair operational equipment, demonstration equipment, instrumentation, analytical equipment and other mechanical components related to the Millwright trade. Provide Mechanical & technical support to other sections such as Machinist section as required. Monitor & Maintain inventory levels for equipment and lab consumables. Monitor & Maintain hand tools, power tools and tool boards. Maintain inventory of all tooling.
