Our Washbay Technician Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing and supervising washbay operations, with guidance provided by their supervisor ensuring all quality, safety, and efficiency standards are followed.
Caron is currently recruiting for a full-time Washbay Shift Lead for our
Calgary terminal.

Special Boiler Operator ticket preferred, or the willingness and ability to obtain this within 3 months3 – 5 years experience leading in a washbay environment with tanker experience preferredHigh School/GEDValid Class 5 License, Class 1 License an assetAbility to work in all weather conditionsJob duties
Operational Responsibilities
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of the washbay crew with direction provided by the SupervisorWork with Supervisor To resolve work issues To provide updates on completed, in progress, and to be scheduled workRetrieve dispatch orders and wash ticketsPerform exterior and interior tank washes to quality standardsPerform confined space entriesOperate tank cleaning computer systemOperate high pressure steam systemMaintain washbay cleanliness and efficiencyReport any problems or repairs as neededPerform yard checks and maintain yard as necessaryEmployee Management Responsibilities
Manage and monitor break timesMotivate crew to maintain high productivityInform Supervisor of any and all issues that occur during shiftSafety Management Responsibilities
