Startec Vessel Fitter Day Shift Position

Become a Vessel Fitter at Startec Compression & Process in Calgary and contribute to innovative assembly solutions. This day shift role emphasizes quality and precise fitting of pressure vessel components.

The Vessel Fitter position operates Monday to Thursday at our Shepard Shop facility. A valid Journeyman certificate and over 5 years of experience in vessel fitting are essential. You will ensure all assembly work meets quality, safety, and production standards while collaborating with our fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fit and assemble pressure vessel components accurately

• Ensure adherence to engineering specifications and tolerances

• Read fabrication drawings to prepare materials effectively

• Identify and resolve any fabrication inconsistencies

• Promote a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Journeyman certificate in Welding or Pipe fitting

• 5+ years of vessel fitting experience

• Ability to interpret complex blueprints

• Strong background in manufacturing safety protocols

• Familiarity with fabrication and assembly processes
