Position: Production Operator WFP-1

Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery such as mixers, ovens, filling machines, and packaging equipment; set up machinery according to specifications; ensure proper functioning; monitor operation and troubleshoot problems.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods; follow SOPs and GMPs; report deviations to supervisor or quality control team.
  • Adhere to safety protocols (OSHA), use PPE, attend safety training, and report hazards or incidents.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of production area, equipment, work surfaces, and storage following sanitation procedures to prevent contamination.
  • Follow production schedules and plans to meet targets; monitor output, identify optimization opportunities, and communicate issues to supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate production records, including logs, batch records, inventory records; assist in inventory management such as stock replenishment.
  • Collaborate with production team members, supervisors, technicians, and quality control personnel; communicate effectively for coordination and handover.
  • Be flexible to work overtime and non‑standard hours when needed, including evenings, weekends, holidays.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum

Job Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; additional vocational training or certification in food production or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Previous experience in food manufacturing or similar production environment (preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations (FSA, USDA) and quality assurance practices (GMPs).
  • Ability to operate production equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects required by the production process.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
