We are currently hiring a Panel Assembly Technician to join our Panel Shop in Rocky View County, Alberta. If you have hands‑on experience building control panels or electrical assemblies—or you're motivated to learn and develop in this trade—we want to hear from you!

Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime:
Overtime is available, depending on project demands
Location:
Rocky View County (must have own transportation)

Clean, indoor, well‑lit shop with a great crew and strong team culture
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electrical and electronic components, sub‑assemblies, and full control panels.
Install wireways, DIN rails, terminal blocks, relays, breakers, and panel hardware.
Prepare and execute panel cutouts, mechanical layout, and component mounting.
Fabricate and install wire markers, lamacoids, and identification tags.
Route, bundle, ferrule, and terminate wiring based on wiring diagrams and panel schedules.
Perform point‑to‑point wiring, cable dressing, and connection verification.
Assemble wiring harnesses and cable assemblies as required.
Perform basic continuity checks, torque checks, and visual inspections.
Verify assemblies against BOMs, drawings, and QC checklists.
Assist with panel testing and inspection prior to FAT.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow safe work practices, PPE requirements, and shop protocols.
Work collaboratively to meet production targets.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications / Requirements
Experience in electrical panel assembly, electronics assembly, or related manufacturing — however, we are willing to train candidates who have the right attitude, curiosity, and interest in learning.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and basic schematics.
Mechanically or electronically inclined with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable using hand tools and small power tools (crimpers, drills, torque drivers, etc.).
Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
Familiarity with Allen‑Bradley, Schneider Scada Pack, or SEL protection and monitoring equipment is an asset.
Basic understanding of industrial control systems (PLCs, relays, I/O terminals) is an asset.
