Class B Pressure Welder​/Fitter

Talent World is recruiting on behalf of our client Advantec Industrial. We are looking for skilled Class B Pressure Welder / Fitters in Calgary, AB.This role is ideal for an experienced pressure welder / fitter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment and has strong experience welding carbon and stainless steel piping and vessels. You will support fabrication activities, read and interpret drawings, and ensure work meets quality and safety standards.

Schedule:

Afternoon shift (4 x 10-hour shifts) or weekend shift (3 x 12-hour shifts)
Day shift candidates may be considered; however, a higher skill level is required.

Weld stainless and carbon steel pipe and vessels

Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings

Perform TIG, MIG, and flux core welding to established parameters

Support fabrication activities in a production setting

Use hand tools and welding equipment safely

Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow safety procedures and company standards

Class B Pressure Welder / Fitter

Qualifications:

Minimum Class B Pressure Welder ticket

TIG welding experience with stainless and carbon steel

GMAW / MIG welding experience on stainless and carbon steel pipe and vessels

Fitting experience considered a strong asset

Strong blueprint reading skills

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Reliable with strong attention to detail

Hiring Process:

Candidates who pass the interview will complete a practical welding test. Materials, equipment, and booth time are provided. A criminal background check is required.
