Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Overview

Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is seeking a full‑time Assembler for our Production group, responsible for assembly, testing and packaging of GPS products. The role is team‑based in a safety‑conscious, temperature‑and humidity‑controlled environment. We offer employee benefits, shift premiums, bonuses and a culture of continuous improvement.

Teams work two rotating shifts: 7:00 am‑2:45 pm and 2:30 pm‑10:15 pm. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

On‑site, Calgary, AB.

• Assemble, test, configure and package GPS products.
• Receive products from production in MRP system.
• Participate in tasks such as lifting ~40 lbs and picking materials for different products.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced team with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook.

• Electronic troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experience in a lean manufacturing environment.
• Experience with an MRP system such as Syteline.
