Manufacturing Assembler

Position: Manufacturing Assembler at Insight Global
Join Insight Global as a Manufacturing Assembler in Calgary, working on PCB and electronics assembly. This 12-month contract position promises hands-on assembly and testing with a potential for full-time employment.

In this role, you will support a growing production team, engaging in daily tasks like soldering, electrical testing, and documentation. You'll perform quality checks while adapting to changing responsibilities throughout your work week. Strong teamwork and communication are essential as you participate in team stand-ups and assist in maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PCB and electronics assembly with soldering to IPC standards

• Support testing of electrical and mechanical components

• Complete quality checks and documentation accurately

• Adhere to ESD protocols and safety procedures

• Participate in daily team stand-ups to discuss progress

Requirements:

• Hands-on soldering experience in electronics assembly

• Familiarity with IPC standards, particularly Class 2

• Strong computer skills, especially with Excel

• Understanding of ESD practices and protocols

• Effective communication and team collaboration skills
