CNC Shop Hand

Join a growing manufacturing team in Calgary as a CNC Shop Hand, focusing on maintenance and Shipping/Receiving tasks. Thrive in a safety-oriented environment while supporting high-volume production operations.

In this role, you will perform general maintenance on CNC machines, including daily inspection checks. You will also be responsible for materials management, operating forklifts, and securing shipments to ensure accurate packaging. This supportive team requires strong communication skills and a commitment to safety on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily rigging and forklift inspections

• Perform pre-use checks on machinery and tools

• Safely operate equipment including forklifts and overhead cranes

• Manage moving materials to CNC cells and Swiss Lathes

• Handle shipping and receiving of materials accurately

Requirements:

• Experience with Forklift and CNC operations

• Ability to read and interpret work packages

• Skilled with hand tools and machinery

• Team-oriented with effective communication skills

• Must be able to lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
