Calgary Journeyman Millwright Position

IKO Industries is seeking a Journeyman Millwright in Calgary, Alberta, to handle crucial maintenance tasks in our production facility. This permanent, full-time role emphasizes safety and technical expertise.

In this role, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and contribute by installing, repairing, and maintaining rigorous machinery standards. Your duties include troubleshooting shingle manufacturing equipment and ensuring a safe workplace according to our safety policies. Prepare for 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair defective machine parts using welding

• Align equipment with precision tools

• Interpret and apply complex machinery manuals

• Disassemble and reassemble mechanical components

• Troubleshoot various industrial equipment

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Millwright License essential

• Relevant experience in an industrial setting desirable

• Ability to learn maintenance software

• Superior analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication and time management skills
