Job Title:

Forklift Operator  Join a well-established manufacturing company in Calgary as a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator.
In this full-time position, you will operate sit-down counterbalanced forklifts to efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
You may also engage in general labour duties to support yard operations.
Responsibilities   Operate sit-down counterbalanced forklifts to move materials.
Handle materials and move I-joists up to 60 feet long.
Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
Organize warehouse and yard layout for optimal space utilization.
Participate in shipping and receiving activities.
Use RF scanners and engage in production and material handling tasks.
Essential Skills   AB Forklift Certificate (must have 3rd party ticket, not in-house).
5+ years of outdoor sit-down forklift experience.
General labour experience.
Ability to lift heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
Experience in moving oversized loads.

Work Environment  Work at a manufacturing facility located in the McKnight Industrial area, which is transit accessible. The role involves outdoor work in the yard alongside a team of machine operators.
Shift Schedule  Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with occasional Saturdays when required.
Job Type & Location  This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CALGARY, AB.
Pay and Advantages  The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
Workplace Type  This is a fully onsite position in CALGARY, AB.
