SOGECLAIR is seeking experienced candidates to support production activities for the De Havilland Canada DHC‑515 program in Calgary. This position focuses on production support within a Final Assembly Line environment. The role requires acting as a manufacturing methods expert, resolving installation issues, improving assembly processes, and ensuring smooth manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities   Translate engineering data into clear, practical assembly methods adapted to production realities.
Define optimal assembly and installation strategies for mechanical systems and act as a technical expert.
Define installation methods for mechanical systems on the first aircraft unit and optimize them for serial production.
Define tooling, jigs, and equipment requirements necessary for assembly operations.
Ensure the FAI process for mechanical systems installation.
Support the installation and integration of aircraft mechanical systems.
Quickly resolve technical issues encountered on the production floor to minimize impacts on schedule and quality.
Provide daily support to production teams for aircraft mechanical systems installations.
Create, review, and maintain work instructions and methods documentation related to mechanical installations.
Participate in non‑conformance analysis and technical investigations in collaboration with quality, production, and engineering teams.
Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing and installation methods.
Actively participate in ramp‑up and production support activities for the DHC‑515 program.
Collaborate closely with production supervisors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure rapid resolution of technical issues.
Qualifications   Minimum 15 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing methods or production support.
Strong experience with aircraft mechanical systems installation.
Significant experience supporting Final Assembly Line (FAL) operations.
Strong ability to work directly on the shop floor in a production support role.
Good understanding of engineering drawings and aerospace technical documentation.

Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing documentation.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Good communication in English.
