Join Bird as a CWB Level II Welding Inspector in Western Canada. This field-based position is integral to ensuring welding quality on various industrial projects.

As a member of Bird's Quality Control Team, you will oversee welding operations across multiple job sites in Western Canada. Your duties will include interpreting engineer’s drawings, performing visual inspections, and ensuring compliance with specifications. The role emphasizes a collaborative approach, working closely with the project team while documenting all inspection activities and maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement client specifications and code requirements

• Inspect welds and perform dimensional verification

• Prepare and manage inspection records and documentation

• Witness pressure tests and create test packages

• Ensure material traceability and ITP compliance

Requirements:

• Certified CWB Level II Welding Inspector

• Competent in NDE processes and relevant codes

• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam

• Experience in industrial mechanical construction

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
