Position Overview We are seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our team in Calgary for a contract position, supporting our warehouse operations through the winter months. The role is a day shift (7:00 AM–4:00 PM, Monday to Friday) and requires the employee to be located within Calgary and able to drive.
Pay: $23–$28 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities Receiving Deliveries:
Unload trucks and verify received products.
Order Fulfillment:
Organize and prepare products for shipment.
Packaging:
Pack and label products securely, ensuring accuracy in shipping addresses.
Inspection & Quality Control:
Review products for defects and report issues to supervisors.
Manual Handling:
Perform physical tasks such as lifting, labeling, sorting, and organizing products.
Shipping Coordination:
Use shipping software to meet deadlines and ensure correct order processing.
Support Tasks:
Assist with production tasks such as part separation and packaging for large orders (approximately 10% outdoor work).
Equipment Operation:
Operate forklifts (certification not required but preferred) and learn to use overhead cranes and other warehouse machinery (training provided).
Qualifications Experience operating sit‑down counter‑balance forklifts.
Overhead crane experience is ideal but not required.
Comfortable lifting up to 50pounds regularly.
Ability to maintain accuracy in packing and shipping.
Keep the workspace tidy and organized.
Adhere to warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
