Position: Buyer for Non-Ferrous Scrap Metals
Become a pivotal part of Interpro Recycling’s team as a Buyer for Non-Ferrous Scrap Metals, engaging directly with customers to ensure accurate merchandising.

Your role will prioritize safety and meticulous assessment of incoming materials.

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for weighing and grading non-ferrous scrap materials. This role requires collaboration with Non-Ferrous Laborers and other team members to maintain cleanliness and efficiency in operations and support the organization through effective communication. Your previous experience in a relevant environment will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh and assess scrap metals received from various sources

• Sort and prepare materials for storage accurately

• Load materials efficiently with a skid steer

• Inspect and categorize metals professionally

• Support team in maintaining a clean work area

Requirements:

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED

• No prior experience required, scrapyard background is beneficial

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Customer service-oriented attitude

• Strong work ethic and safety-conscious
