Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in butchery and meat preparation. This role involves cutting, trimming, and preparing various types of meats to meet quality standards and customer specifications.

The Meat Cutter will ensure food safety, proper packaging, and maintain a clean and organized work environment to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

• Cut, trim, and prepare different types of meats according to established specifications and safety standards
• Handle meat products with care, ensuring proper food handling and hygiene practices
• Operate meat cutting equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulation
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed
• Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure product quality

• Prior experience in the food industry, especially in butchery or meat cutting preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
• Ability to operate knives and meat processing equipment safely
• Robust attention to detail and precision in cutting and packaging meats
• Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as required
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
• Kitchen experience or background in food preparation is a plus
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace adhering to food safety regulations

Pay: $16.75-$17.50 per hour
