Skilled Structural Steel Fitter

PTW is currently hiring skilled Structural Steel Fitters for day shifts in Calgary, AB. This position emphasizes high-quality work in metal fabrication and installation for commercial and industrial applications.

In this role at PTW, you'll interpret engineering drawings and ensure efficient material handling. You'll set up metalworking tools, fit components, and maintain a safe work environment while assembling heavy fabricated pieces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings and plan cutting sequences

• Detail and prepare heavy metal components as per specifications

• Set up and effectively use metalworking equipment

• Fit and install components accurately to project requirements

• Manage materials safely and maintain organized work areas

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial fitting

• Welding courses are beneficial

• Interprovincial Trade Certification (Red Seal) preferred

• Strong focus on detail and safety measures

• Must be able to sustain an organized work environment
