Position: Cabinetmaker Apprentice Full Time
Join a custom cabinet shop in Calgary as a Cabinetmaker Apprentice, honing woodworking skills in a permanent, full-time role. Work directly with various woodworking machines in a dynamic environment.

This full-time position at a furniture manufacturing company involves operating power saws, shaping wood with hand tools, and creating specifications for custom cabinets. You will gain hands-on experience in residential and commercial millwork settings while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate power saws and woodworking machines for precision cuts

• Prepare specifications for custom-made cabinetry

• Shape edges using planes, chisels, and files

• Assemble and fit parts to complete products

• Sand, finish, and apply coatings to wooden surfaces

Requirements:

• Cabinetmaker Red Seal Certificate required

• Experience with cabinets and furniture manufacturing

• Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs)

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Must pass a driving record check
